After mastering acrylics as a medium, Jack also learned to paint with watercolors. Always interested in learning from the best, Jack took a watercolor class taught by watercolor master, Frank Webb.
“It was a great class,” he said, “and after that, I was serving two masters: acrylics and watercolors.”
Webb has been quoted as saying, “Success in watercolor painting is not measured in the quantity of paintings completed, but in the acres of paper used.”
“I took him at his word”
Like his acrylic paintings, Jack’s watercolors typically feature bright colors and feature scenes of everyday life from his travels. The Pacific Northwest, Hawaii, and Jamaica are some of the places depicted in his watercolors.
